I had a funny moment during a "date" last night.

I picked her up with this. She didn't know I had this car. She loved it but then she said what's the model? The conversation went like this:

Me: It's a Miata MX-5.

Her: Oh it's a nice name!

Me: It is. It means something in Old High German.

Her: Well...what does it mean? *looking at me fully interested*

Me: Well...*huge blank* I forgot but it was awesome. It means something else too in another language. I'll look it up.

Her: Oh nice. It's a really nice car, small and it feels really light. I really love it.

Me: Thanks :D

Her: Did you gave her a name?

Me: A name?....no.

Her: Let's name her....Mia!

Me: That's my niese's name actually hahaha.

Her: Hahaha. How about....Seraphina?

Me: Nah...

Her: Gertrude?

Me: May as well call it a old bag... -_-*

Her: Hum.......AKIRA!

Me: I seen the movie...and nah it doesn't fit her.

Her: I haven't seen the movie but I read all the mangas. You should too!!! I'm pretty sure you missed a bunch of details!

Me: I can imagine, got them?

Her: Not anymore sadly. :(

Me: Awwww what a shame...

Her: Wait I know. Sakura.

Right there, she won me.

Me: Sakura as in CardCaptor Sakura?

Her: Yeah!

Me: Holyshit! That was my show back then! I used to wake up at 4 am to watch it and....bla bla bla

The night went great, we had fun, EVERYONE at the bar told me to take care of her and EVERYONE told her how good of a guy I was which was kinda crazy hahaha. We sang most the cartoon themes we had back in our childhood on the way back home.

So now my NC Miata will be called Sakura. This name fits her well.

i have an nc related story. i was in my na waitig in turn lane and this blue nc driven by an older man drives past opposite direction. it was blue really close to my color of paint. the guy drives by and just stares. it was kind if funny. i think he was wanting a wave or a knowing nod or something but i dont do those things.

tldr

guy in nc version of my car was staring at me it was wierd.
